INTRODUCING THE ECKINGTON W.I.T.C.H Ever fancied a dabble at crafts, maybe trying a new skill? Well good news, the Eckington WITCH might just be your chance. From September to March (excluding December), WITCH will hold a monthly meeting where we will try out a new craft or skill. You will not need any experience for these events as the aim is to try it out. Costs for each session will vary depending on the nature of the craft and materials needed.
Our next session will be Wednesday 29th November starting at 7pm for 2 hours of work to produce Christmas Tree Decorations. The cost for the session will be £4.50 and will include light refreshments and all materials.
Please note these sessions are being organised by Eckington WI and whilst we will be providing the materials and guidance, we do not have a formal paid tutor. The purpose of these sessions are to give people an opportunity to try various crafts in an informal environment. We will always have our members there to guide others and indeed those helping to lead will have had some experience in the craft but we have to stress this is not a formally led craft class. That said, if the sessions prove popular, we will consider using paid tutors for some specialist crafts. So if you are interested in attending this next session, please email with details of who is coming at firstname.lastname@example.org. Places are limited and so early notice from you would be useful. Oh and who or what is the Eckington WITCH you may ask? It’s WI, The Craft Hub –
